Achi – Aadate : Personal Menstruation & Hygiene Programme

To promote preventive healthcare and safe and hygienic practices among our beneficiaries enabling them to be self-driven and motivated at various locations in different slums & Rural part of India and directly benefited lakhs of beneficiaries so far. This initiative is basically designed to Distribution Sanitary Pads and to promote better sanitation and hygiene facilities and to educate people of all age group about the importance of Personal, Menstruation hygiene management for safe and sustainable menstrual practices & waste disposal Techniques to avoid problems during Periods. It includes sensitization camps having sessions on good touch – bad touch, sexual abuse, eve teasing and importance of feminine hygiene & Education. Further, we discuss about mental health and the growing need of awareness among young females about their overall well being.

It is designed to promote interactions among girls about these issues to break taboos attached to menstruation and sexual health and further developing the idea that one should inform about any abnormality to their families in order to safeguard themselves and the society. Periods are Important & hygiene is very important.

Provide them with the basic knowledge of Personal & Menstrual hygiene with our personalized hygiene kit, which contains 12 items (Toothpaste, Tooth Brush, Tongue cleaner, Comb, Ear buds, Nail cutter, Face Powder, Tissue Papers, Cream, Soap, Shampoo, Mask & Sanitizer) & 7 biodegradable sanitary pads & new cloth (Saree).
